Global Dashboard question

Bob Bick

I would like to create a Sonar Global Dashboard which displays a subset of projects (i.e. same as the “Projects” except show just two projects).

Two questions, (1) Is this possible? (2) If so, is there an example of how to do this?

Kind Regards,

Bob

RE: Global Dashboard question

Bob Bick

Here is the solution in case others have trouble figuring this out…

1)      Click “Manage Dashboards

2)      Enter a new dashboard name. Click “Create global dashboard”

3)      Click “Configuration”

4)      Click “My Filters”

5)      Click “Add filter”

6)      Enter a Name, Click “Advanced Search”

7)       Enter a regular expression in the “Resource name like” field.

8)      Click “Save & Preview” … verify that the desired projects show up at the bottom of the form.

9)      Click “Save and Close”

10)   Click “Home”

11)   Click “Manage Dashboards”

12)   Click “Configure Widgets” for the dashboard you want to edit.

13)   Click “Filters”

14)   Click “Add widget”

15)   Select the filter that you added in step 5.

16)   Click “Save”

17)   Click “Home”

So... I'm assuming a page doesn't already exist on the Wiki with those directions. Bob, I wonder if you could add one...?
