It's launched from Hudson 1.329 and I take care of removing the

Here is how hudson launched sonar :

/opt/maven2/bin/mvn -e -B -f pom.xml
-Dsonar.jdbc.driver=com.mysql.jdbc.Driver -Dsonar.jdbc.username=xuser
-Dsonar.jdbc.password=xpassword
-Dsonar.jdbc.url=jdbc:mysql://sonar.mycorp.com:3306/sonar?useUnicode=true&characterEncoding=utf8
-Dsonar.host.url=http://sonar.mycorp.com/sonar
-Dproject.build.sourceEncoding=ISO8859-1 -U sonar:sonar

There is no trailing / in sonar host url.

Re: Re: Sonar PDF plugin failure

Hello Henri,

Could you try to run the same command isolated (without Hudson)?

2009/10/23 Henri Gomez <[hidden email]>
Here is how hudson launched sonar :

/opt/maven2/bin/mvn -e -B -f pom.xml
-Dsonar.jdbc.driver=com.mysql.jdbc.Driver -Dsonar.jdbc.username=xuser
-Dsonar.jdbc.password=xpassword
-Dsonar.jdbc.url=jdbc:mysql://sonar.mycorp.com:3306/sonar?useUnicode=true&characterEncoding=utf8
-Dsonar.host.url=http://sonar.mycorp.com/sonar
-Dproject.build.sourceEncoding=ISO8859-1
-U sonar:sonar

There is no trailing / in sonar host url.

Try

Changing the URL ( replace all the // with / )

http://sonar.mycorp.com/sonar//api/resources?resource=fr.mycorp.mk:mycorp-mk-mis&depth=0&format=xml

Hello Henri,

Could you try to run the same command isolated (without Hudson)?

2009/10/23 Henri Gomez <[hidden email]>

Here is how hudson launched sonar :

/opt/maven2/bin/mvn -e -B -f pom.xml
-Dsonar.jdbc.driver=com.mysql.jdbc.Driver -Dsonar.jdbc.username=xuser
-Dsonar.jdbc.password=xpassword
-Dsonar.jdbc.url=jdbc:mysql://sonar.mycorp.com:3306/sonar?useUnicode=true&characterEncoding=utf8
-Dsonar.host.url=http://sonar.mycorp.com/sonar
-Dproject.build.sourceEncoding=ISO8859-1
-U sonar:sonar

There is no trailing / in sonar host url.

Just tested this issue by pasting the URL into my browser...failed as usual! When I tested with sonargraph properties removed from the url, there was xml content produced!

I am running the plugin again in eclipse and belive it will work...meaning the issue is caused by "TOO MANY CHARACTERS IN THE GET REQUEST!"

PDF file was generated as expected! ..Could Senor munez stop giving vague answers in all the threads about this problem and address the basics of http!! i.e http has a 256 character limit which many people now claim is no longer relevant.
